About OpenAudioCopy
OpenAudioCopy is a desktop application for extracting audio CDs to WAV and FLAC. It provides drive configuration, secure reading, AccurateRip verification, metadata review, and CUE-sheet output on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Relationship to Exact Audio Copy
Section titled “Relationship to Exact Audio Copy”OpenAudioCopy follows EAC’s layout and menu conventions. It can import EAC profiles and album records; the import preview shows which settings will transfer.
Reporting a problem
Section titled “Reporting a problem”Include these details in a problem report:
- Application version and operating system
- Drive model and firmware
- The command you ran and complete error message
- For extraction problems, the job report and whether the same disc and track fail on another attempt
